Overview
Near Downtown Lodi’s historic district, Drava Wines provides an intimate boutique winery setting shaped by Slovenian influence and the distinctive vineyards of the Lodi appellation. This family-owned micro-winery brings together Old World winemaking traditions and contemporary California methods, producing small-lot wines with individual character and careful craftsmanship.
Brothers Steve and William Carson established Drava Wines through their shared enthusiasm for wine and their connection to Slovenia’s respected wine heritage. The winery takes its name from the Drava River, which passes through Maribor, Slovenia—the home of the world’s oldest known grapevine, estimated to be more than 450 years old.
An Intimate Lodi Tasting
Guests are welcomed into a personal tasting setting with a rotating lineup of handcrafted wines made from Certified Sustainable Lodi vineyards. A Dedicated Garagiste-Style Winery
Drava Wines has operated from its permanent Turner Road winery location since 2017 and continues to work as a garagiste-style micro-winery, producing approximately 250 cases annually. Every year, the Carson brothers select small vineyard lots with care, creating wines that express the variety, quality, and innovation of Lodi wine country.
For experienced wine lovers and those discovering Lodi’s wine scene for the first time, Drava Wines offers a genuine and memorable visit grounded in heritage, hospitality, and exceptional winemaking.
