Set beside the scenic Mokelumne River, Heritage Oak Winery provides an authentic way to experience Lodi Wine Country. Tom and Carmela Hoffman own and operate this welcoming winery, which carries forward five generations of family farming and a lasting relationship with the land.

The estate vineyards yield handcrafted wines such as Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Tempranillo, each reflecting the distinctive character and quality of Lodi’s renowned wine region.

In the relaxed tasting room, Tom often talks with visitors about vineyard management, sustainable farming practices, and how the wines are made. From winter pruning and ongoing vineyard care through fermentation and barrel aging, each stage receives close attention, producing rich, smooth wines that reveal the qualities of their individual vineyard blocks.

Picnic Among the Oaks

Turn your winery visit into an outdoor meal on Heritage Oak’s picturesque property. Visitors may bring food from home or purchase picnic selections at the winery.

A pre-made charcuterie tray for $25, with cheeses, salami, crackers, olives, nuts, and chocolates; serves 2–3
A picnic meal for two for $20, including salami, cheese, crackers, an apple, and water

Wine sold separately
