Cycling in Lodi
Lodi welcomes both dedicated cyclists and casual riders. The area’s year-round Mediterranean climate, flat country roads, and views of vineyards, orchards, and peaceful pastures make it a rewarding place to ride. Routes also lead to wineries and tasting rooms among the vines, where riders can enjoy a glass of Lodi wine, and Lodi hosts cycling events throughout the year.
From Lodi, cyclists can reach the Cosumnes River Preserve, a popular birding destination in fall and spring; the Delta, with its small river towns along the Sacramento River; and Micke Grove Park, home to a zoo, historical society, and carefully maintained grounds.
Local riders have developed routes that showcase the region’s agricultural and viticultural scenery. Along the way, cyclists can stop at wineries, cultural attractions, and a varied selection of restaurants. Lodi offers an ideal cycling getaway.
Every route can be printed from the Visit Lodi website, transferred to a Garmin, or opened through the RideWithGPS app on a phone. Information about using the RideWithGPS app is also available.
