Since 2004, m2 Wines has crafted wines that express the character of California’s premier wine regions, including Lodi, the Sierra Foothills, and Napa Valley. The winery is particularly known for Zinfandels, Rhône-style wines, and bold blends. Traditional methods and modern winemaking techniques come together in wines that are enjoyable now and designed to age beautifully.

Layne Montgomery founded m2 Wines in borrowed winery space. In 2006, the winery moved into a small warehouse in Lodi. A commitment to quality, innovation, and hard work brought national recognition and prestigious awards, helping m2 Wines become one of Lodi’s most respected wine destinations.

Visit the Tasting Room

m2 Wines opened its distinctive 15-acre vineyard estate in Lodi in 2013. Built from corten steel and framed by vineyard views, the architecturally distinctive tasting room creates an indoor-outdoor setting. Sustainability is part of the design, with rooftop solar panels, energy-efficient construction, and large doors that open toward the vineyard landscape during warmer months.

Visitors are welcomed to explore a handcrafted wine portfolio shaped by the individual character of its vineyard sources.
