Overview

Located west of Lodi amid the vineyards, Nostra Vita Family Winery is a boutique, family-owned winery bringing together generations of winegrowing knowledge, handcrafted wines, and heartfelt hospitality. Its name comes from a Latin expression meaning Our Life, reflecting the passion, heritage, and community found throughout Lodi wine country.

The family has spent more than 50 years in the wine industry and believes that remarkable wine starts in the vineyard. Grapes for the estate-grown Chardonnay, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Sauvignon are grown at the family ranch in the rolling Clements Hills, where they have been cultivated for more than 19 years. These vineyards serve as the basis for the winery’s carefully made collection.

How Serendipity Began

In 2013, owner and winemaker Robert took on a challenge from his partner, Leslie, to make an exceptional sparkling wine. He used the labor-intensive méthode champenoise to create a Blanc de Blanc, which soon attracted attention and sold out through word of mouth. That achievement gave rise to the Serendipity sparkling wine brand and ultimately helped inspire the founding of Nostra Vita Family Winery.

Serendipity Sparkling Wine continues to represent the winery’s dedication to quality. Its fresh acidity, crisp fruit character, and elegant complexity demonstrate the possibilities of Lodi winemaking.

Nostra Vita welcomes guests for tastings, special celebrations featuring sparkling wine, and relaxed time with friends over a bottle.
