Overview

For years, country living was a deeply held aspiration for the owners of One Way Winery, who imagined rural peace and expanses of open land. That dream became possible in 2001, when they purchased a charming old farmhouse built in 1926. The property also included 18 acres of thriving Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the renowned Lodi Appellation.

Growing a vineyard of their own felt like the realization of a long-held dream. In 2004, their enthusiasm for winemaking and interest in adding variety led them to plant Pinot Grigio. That effort became MY Green Vineyards, LLC, founded from their appreciation for viticulture and fine wine.

For years, the owners made wine for themselves and shared it with family and friends at celebrations and gatherings. With its scenic setting and favorable growing conditions, the property seemed naturally suited for a winery and tasting room.

The idea remained with them until 2009, when they applied for a winery license. Production followed with their first vintage, opening a new chapter for the property. They began through an alternating proprietorship with Estate Crush in Lodi, making use of Estate Crush’s facilities and expertise. That partnership remains an important part of their production process, helping ensure that every bottle carries the quality and passion invested in the vineyard.
