Overview

Peirano Estate Vineyards is one of Lodi’s historic family-owned wineries. Five generations of farming and winemaking have shaped its legacy of exceptional estate-grown wines. In the heart of the Lodi Appellation, the 300-acre estate brings together traditional Old World vineyard methods and contemporary winemaking techniques to express the character of Lodi.

Giacomo Peirano established the vineyard in the early 1880s. Today, it includes one of California’s largest blocks of old, head-trained, own-rooted Zinfandel vines, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Merlot, Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Malbec, and Muscat Canelli.

Fourth-generation winemaker Lance Randolph carries the family tradition forward, creating elegant estate wines that have earned numerous awards while honoring the vineyard’s heritage. His guiding belief is that exceptional grapes and a profound dedication to the land are the foundation of great wine.

The estate lies between the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta and the Sierra Nevada foothills. Lodi’s Mediterranean climate, deep sandy-loam soils, and plentiful water create ideal conditions for premium wine grapes.
