Rippey Family Vineyards

With four generations of Napa Valley heritage behind it, Rippey Family Vineyards brings a lifetime of California wine experience to every bottle. Brothers Nathan and Tyson Rippey began developing their winemaking passion young, helping produce Petite Sirah in their grandfather's St. Helena garage before building practical experience in respected Napa Valley and Bay Area restaurants.

The family's wine-industry work grew through the establishment of Lodi Vintners, a custom crush facility located within Lodi's oldest continuously operating winery. Their next venture, Carneros Vintners in Sonoma, expanded their expertise as they made wine for wineries of every size and developed additional vineyard sources of their own.

Following more than 25 years of making wine for other producers, the family introduced Rippey Family Vineyards as its own label. The wines bring together the knowledge, fruit sources, and winemaking experience developed across Northern California. Each bottle represents the Rippey family's dedication to quality and its generations-long commitment to California winemaking.

The 2023 Grenache from Rippey Family Vineyards (Abba Vineyard, Lodi, CA) won the 2025 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition's Best Red of Show.
