The Grape Escape places guests only a few minutes from the best wineries in “Zin City.” It is Lodi’s #1 vacation home for large groups and sleeps 14. The home suits bachelorette parties, corporate retreats, friends trips, family reunions, and wedding parties, with a personalized, curated luxury experience in a 7BR/5.5BA vacation rental.

Downtown Lodi is a 5-minute walk away along quiet, tree-lined streets, with restaurants, coffee shops, tasting rooms, shops, and more nearby.

The Home

Originally built as a 1907 Victorian home, The Grape Escape has been newly renovated and restored to its original beauty and elegance. Located in one of Lodi’s oldest and most desirable neighborhoods, the property combines “turn-of-the-century charm” with modern conveniences.

A professional interior designer selected furnishings from high-end brands including Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, West Elm & Williams Sonoma.

Guest-Friendly Features

Host Jaydon is an official Lodi Tourism Ambassador. After booking, guests receive a digital guidebook with restaurant and activity recommendations, hidden gems, and little-known secrets.

Bedrooms

The property includes 7 bedrooms total, including a detached, private ADU. Ten guests sleep in beds, while sleeper sofas fit 4 extra guests.

Every bedroom offers abundant natural light, darkening shades, an HD SmartTV, and a fully-equipped workstation. Guests sleep on luxurious Helix Sleep mattresses intended to support a restorative night's sleep.

Bathrooms

There are 5 full ENSUITE bathrooms. The primary bedroom bathroom includes a luxurious soaking tub. A powder room on the main floor is available for everyone’s use.

Each bathroom includes vanity desks with magnifying makeup mirrors, full-length mirrors, hairdryers, makeup remover wash clothes, feminine care products, and more.

Kitchen

The gourmet kitchen is designed for preparing the local farm-to-table treasures collected nearby. It includes luxe countertops, a 3-seat island, a professional cooking range, and high-end stainless steel appliances. Sweeping windows open the kitchen toward the outdoor kitchen & living space.

The kitchen and dining area form an open concept large enough for the entire group. It is fully stocked for a world-class group dining experience.

Dining Room

A 10-seat dining table sits directly off the kitchen, creating a setting for shared meals and conversation. The open layout also connects diners with guests in the kitchen or at the 3-seat kitchen counter island.

An electric fireplace adds warmth and glow to group meals.

Living Room

The living room offers plush seating for relaxing, spending time together, or streaming a favorite group movie on the 65€ HD SmartTV. Guests can log in to their own accounts for Netflix, HBO Max, Prime, Hulu, Disney+, & more.

The room’s easy-to-use electric fireplace contributes to its cozy and elegant ambiance. Guests can enjoy a charcuterie board with a favorite vintage from their wine-tasting adventures and play music through the Bose Bluetooth, wireless speaker.

Flex Lounge

This additional gathering room includes a fully stocked bar cabinet—accessories, not the booze itself :)—along with four lounge chairs arranged around a coffee table. Two chairs at a small table create space for one-on-one board games and conversation.

Downstairs Gym / Sitting Room

The downstairs sitting room can serve as an office, gym/yoga area, or bedroom with a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Exercise equipment includes fitness mats, yoga mats, blocks, and towels. The room also provides a workstation and an HD Smart TV.

Outside

After a day of vineyard hopping, guests can relax in the large hot tub and then gather around the fire pit for s'mores and conversation.
