Overview

Small Artworks, Big Creative Energy

Each fall, the Lodi Community Art Center brings artists together for a compact take on creativity. The Small Works & Itty Bitty Art Show fills the gallery with miniature paintings, sculptures, mixed media pieces, and holiday-ready works that demonstrate how much impact art can have at a small scale. Visitors can expect jewel-box details, inventive concepts, and plenty of reasons to look more closely.

The annual exhibition runs from Friday, November 6 through Sunday, December 20, 2026. Its broad selection includes tiny landscapes, bold abstracts, and petite 3D pieces, offering an inviting overview of local creativity. Because the works are smaller, the show also provides an approachable opportunity to begin or expand a personal art collection without having to rearrange a living room.

The Opening Reception and Awards Presentation takes place Saturday, November 14 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Guests can meet the artists, enjoy the energy of the gathering, and look for a work suited to a wall, shelf, or gift.

The Lodi Community Art Center is located at 110 W. Pine Street, Lodi. It is an easy downtown stop with plenty of artistic payoff. Anyone drawn to art that rewards a closer look will find plenty to explore here.
