If you have an upcoming event in Lodi, tell Visit Lodi about it so locals and visitors can discover activities happening throughout the area, including community festivals, live music, food experiences, and more.

Visit Lodi enjoys featuring experiences that encourage visitors to explore what makes Lodi special, including festivals, concerts, art workshops, and wine activities. To keep the calendar inspiring and focused on visitors, follow the requirements below.

Basic Policy

Visit Lodi reserves the right to edit or decline any event submission at its discretion.

What Qualifies

• Location: The event must occur in Lodi or San Joaquin County.
• Visitor Appeal: Events should be welcoming and enjoyable for visitors. Activities intended only for community members or residents—such as youth groups, school functions, and neighborhood meetings—are generally not included.

Events Usually Excluded

To preserve a curated calendar centered on travel experiences, Visit Lodi does not generally include:

• Camps, school open houses, or academic information sessions
• Conventions, panels, forums, or private meetings
• Job fairs, health fairs, rallies, or demonstrations
• Youth sports tournaments or events hosted at private residences
• Other activities directed primarily at local residents

Workshops and Classes

Visit Lodi welcomes creative, hands-on activities that let visitors engage with Lodi’s artistic character, including:

• Paint-and-sip events
• Floral design and craft workshops
• Art, photography, and culinary classes
• Wine making, blending or tasting

Courses focused on education or skills development—such as CPR certification, computer classes, or academic lectures—are not included.

Business Promotions

The calendar is intended for visitor experiences rather than promotional campaigns.

Individual retail or restaurant sales and marketing events are not posted. Exceptions may apply to holiday offerings, such as Valentine’s Day dinners, and shopping center events that provide a destination experience for visitors.

Information Required for Submission

Every event entry must provide:

• Event title
• Date(s) and time(s)
• Location
• Cost, if applicable
• A complete event description with contact information attendees can use to find out more

Photo Guidelines

Submit a genuine photograph representing the event rather than a flyer.

When a flyer contains essential event details, include those details in the written description instead of uploading the flyer as the image.

Description Guidelines

Give visitors enough detail to imagine attending the event. Submissions need a thoughtful, informative description; one-sentence listings will not be accepted.
