What is Local Vendor Credit?
This benefit is issued as a credit paid directly to approved Lodi-area vendors for meeting enhancements. The program keeps the value in Lodi and simplifies the planning process.

How wine works
Local wine may be covered when it is purchased for an event function through an approved, properly licensed vendor and is invoiced for your program.
Typical exclusions
The credit cannot be used for:
- Cash paid to an individual planner or attendee
- Purchases lacking an itemized invoice from an approved vendor
- Costs outside the event dates or location, or expenses unrelated to meeting functions
Who qualifies
An event may be eligible when all of these conditions are met:
- The event takes place in Lodi, and contracted lodging is within the program footprint
- At least 50 total paid room nights are generated; only Sunday–Thursday nights qualify for the incentive
- At least 25 rooms are occupied on the peak night, meaning the highest single-night pickup
- Room nights are booked within the official group block and verified by participating hotel(s)
- Visit Lodi is involved before contracts are signed and before incentive funds are committed
- The request is submitted at least 30 days before arrival; earlier submission is better
- The meeting or event is new to Lodi and has not been hosted in Lodi within the past three (3) years, based on meeting dates
Common exclusions
The program generally excludes:
- Weddings, reunions, and purely social events
- Events placed under contract before Visit Lodi was contacted
- Room nights reserved outside the official block; third-party channels typically cannot be counted
- Events for which incentive funds are unavailable or have not been confirmed
- Events hosted in Lodi the within the past (3) years
How it works

2. Eligibility and funds are confirmed
Visit Lodi will send written confirmation describing the maximum eligible credit, if funds are available.
3. Meet in Lodi and verify the room nights
Following the event, participating hotel(s) submit a pickup report.
4. Select vendors and have them paid directly
Visit Lodi pays approved vendors using itemized invoices, up to the verified credit amount.
Typical timing: net-15 after verification and invoice receipt.

What is a “room night”?
A “room night” is one paid guest room occupied for one night and verified after the event.
What does “25 rooms on peak” mean?
The highest single-night pickup must reach 25 rooms across participating hotel(s), if applicable.
Can we split the block across multiple hotels?
Yes. The tracking method will be confirmed during the eligibility review.
Can the credit be used for wine?
Yes. Wine must be connected to an event function, purchased through an approved, properly licensed vendor, and supported by an itemized invoice.
Is the incentive guaranteed?
