Content Patterns

Rich Text Styles

Heading 2

This section illustrates how longer-form destination content can be presented with readable spacing and multiple heading levels. The sample text uses placeholder copy to show how a full paragraph will appear within the layout.

Heading 3

Additional placeholder content demonstrates the appearance of a secondary heading followed by supporting prose. These examples show how text can be organized into clear, scannable sections.

Heading 4

This level provides another layer of organization for detailed information. The surrounding sample copy represents the type of supporting content that may be used beneath a more specific subheading.

Heading 5

The smallest heading style is available for organizing highly detailed content. Additional placeholder paragraphs demonstrate how related information can be grouped beneath it.

The rich text styles also support buttons, numbered items, indented content, and multiple levels of body copy.

Rich Text, Default

A default rich text block is designed for comfortable reading and can be aligned to the left, centered, or arranged in a split, two-column format through the Settings tab.

Background colors are also available. Use them sparingly, limiting them to no more than one paragraph at a time. These colors work best as accents that divide longer passages, rather than appearing on neighboring blocks.

Rich Text, Centered

Centered rich text provides the same readable content treatment with centered alignment. Default, centered, and split layouts can be selected through the Settings tab.

Background colors should be used selectively and for no more than one paragraph at a time. They are intended to add emphasis between longer groups of copy, not to appear on adjacent blocks.

Rich Text, Split

Split rich text places copy into a two-column arrangement. The layout can be adjusted through the Settings tab, and background colors may be applied as occasional accents.

Avoid placing colored backgrounds on adjoining blocks, and use a background color for no more than one paragraph at a time.

Split Content + Embed Code

This block places text or imagery beside embedded code. On larger screens, the reverse setting changes which side contains the embedded element. At smaller sizes, the text or image appears above the embedded code in a stacked arrangement.

Background colors are optional and should be used sparingly, with no more than one paragraph receiving a background color at a time. This component also works with anchor links.

Split Text + Image

A split text and image block presents written content beside an image. Background colors can be added selectively, following the same guidance used for rich text blocks.

The layout may contain placeholder copy describing a destination experience, such as a visit to Lodi or an exploration of California’s Wine Country.

Showcase

Cards Block

Card showcases can include supporting text above the cards, custom showcase entry titles, descriptions, and custom links.

Cards Slider Block

A card slider can present several showcase entries in sequence. Each entry may include:

Large Cards Block

Large cards provide a more prominent presentation for showcase entries, with optional ancillary text, descriptions, and custom links.

Logo Spotlight

A logo spotlight highlights a featured showcase entry with supporting placeholder copy and a custom link.

Banners Block

Banner entries may include ancillary text above the heading, a custom showcase entry title, a subheading below the heading, supporting copy, and a custom link.

Spotlights

Spotlight entries combine an ancillary label, a featured showcase title, descriptive text, and a custom link. They can be used to emphasize selected content within a page.

Media

Image Assets

Image assets can use a full-width layout or a centered layout, with captions available for both treatments.

Photo Galleries

Accordion

Accordion panels provide expandable areas for supporting information. Each panel can contain a heading and explanatory copy about layout behavior, responsive stacking, background colors, and anchor-link compatibility.
